Crochet retreat for designers
Studio Belovely organizes crochet retreats on a quiet little island in Greece. Grateful for the great success of the past six years, it is now time for a special edition of the crochet retreats: a crochet retreat, especially for international crochet designers.
May 25 - 30 / June 1 -6, 2025
You can meet fellow designers and expand your network while enjoying pure and simple island living. The 25 locals of this small island will be happy to welcome you, the nature is beautiful, and the Greek food is delicious. This hidden island is the perfect place to clear your head, refuel, and get inspired for new crochet designs and future business plans.
a little Greek island
The crochet retreats are on a little Greek island, hidden from the rest of the world. We will share the name of this island with anyone interested in joining the crochet retreat.
There are direct flights from Europe to Kos, the nearest island with an airport. Non-EU flights are to Athens, and then to Kos.
It takes one hour to reach 'Crochet Island' from Kos (30 minutes by ferry, 15 minutes by taxi and 10 minutes by small boat).
I will provide you with a personal travel itinerary and inform the taxi drivers about your arrival.

This special edition of the crochet retreats - for designers only - is planned outside the high season, when the island is quiet enough to fully enjoy it.
If you arrive a day before the crochet retreat starts, we advise you to book a room in Mastichari (Kos), as this is the place where the ferry leaves.

For this special crochet retreat, there is room for approximately 15 designers.
The programme
Feel free to join all the activities, or choose what you like.
Day 1 - Sunday: arrival around 1 pm, welcome drink, dinner
Day 2 - Monday: breakfast, crochet*, lunch, walk, picnic at sunset
Day 3 - Tuesday: breakfast, crochet*, boat trip with lunch, dinner
Day 4 - Wednesday: breakfast, crochet*, optional: island tour on the bigger neighbouring island
Day 5 - Thursday: breakfast, crochet*, lunch, dinner
Day 6 - Friday: breakfast, time to say goodbye
*crochet = crochet-related activity, which will vary each day
Inclusive:
- 5 nights in a simple room/studio with toilet/shower
- all meals, as indicated in the programme
- all activities, as indicated in the programme
- yarn from different brands
Price:
- € 599 p/p for a 2-person room
- + € 149 for single occupancy
- you can get an invoice for coaching/network event
- you might ask for sponsoring by your yarn supplier
We ask deposit of € 95 when you make your reservation. The remaining amount is expected 8 weeks before departure.
- There are a couple of rooms for 3 persons available.
Exclusive:
- flight to and from Kos
- ferry and transfer to and from Kos - the little island (costs for ferry and transfers is approximately € 50)
